Here are some important Health Reform changes for employers with group health plans that take place on or after September 23rd of 2010:

-No lifetime maximums: Individual and group health plans cannot put lifetime limits on the dollar value of coverage for "essential" benefits.
-No annual limits: Plans can have annual limits on essential benefits but these will be restricted when regulations can be written, and prohibited entirely in 2014.
-Coverage for children up to age 26: The only exception is for children whose employers offers a health plan.
-No preexisting condition exclusions for children younger than 19.
-Automatic enrollment into employer health plans for those with more than 200 full-time employees.
-No cost sharing on preventive services: The United States Preventive Services Task Force Recommendations has a list of services that plans must cover.
